Introducing the Michigan Policy Circle
Public Sector Consultants Inc. is not nearly as influential
as our clients and friends. You bring your influence to bear on
how people work, live, communicate, share, and act. We juice up
the scene from time to time, peddling ideas about Michigan’s
politics, policy issues, culture, and economy. We love finding connections
among people, events, and issues.
For many years, PSC published a series of reports
under the Public Sector Reports banner. A number of people
have suggested that we resuscitate musings on the state scene. The
Internet makes this convenient—not to mention very timely
and very inexpensive. Hence, we embark on these Internet-based commentaries
to clients and friends.
We call these observations the Michigan Policy
Circle. It’s all about deepening and widening interest
in state public affairs among people who make a difference by serving
our state and its communities. Commentaries and messages will be
thoughtful and incisive, but not numbingly regular or obscenely
reverent. Our colleagues and friends will write on topics of interest
when the mood strikes.
PSC is known as a research firm that does objective
public policy analysis. This objectivity will fuel the succinct
and provocative commentary that will animate these occasional publications.
All of the documents will be posted on PSC’s
website, www.pscinc.com. If
you are interested in receiving a brief e-mail notice when new publications
are released, simply visit the website and add
your name to the announcement list. Otherwise, we invite you
to check in from time to time.
Whether you choose to be part of the Michigan Policy
Circle or not, please know that we respect the contributions you
make to Michigan.
